September is National Recovery Month. The theme for 2021 is “Recovery is For Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community”. This month, especially, we take every opportunity to increase awareness and understanding of individuals living with behavioral health conditions and celebrate those who recover. It is also a great time to recognize that tobacco-free recovery is the ideal to strive toward.
Each September, Recovery Month works to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the emergence of a strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and community members across the nation who make recovery in all its forms possible.
